Slovenian blue-chip index falls further

November 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana bourse dropped further on Monday in increased turnover, stock exchange data indicated.

Slovenian blue-chip index falls further

The SBITOP lost 0.65% to 589.94 points after falling 1.17% on Friday.

Four of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Monday, two rose and Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] closed flat at 80 euro ($103.5).

Retailer Mercator [LJE:MELR] paced the blue-chip decliners, falling 4.58% to 112.6.

Energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] led the SBITOP gainers, rising 0.73% to 213.2 euro.

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] was the most traded blue chip with 24,752 shares changing hands.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 685,910 euro from 580,980 euro on Friday.
