Slovenian blue-chip index falls

October 23 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana bourse fell on Tuesday in increased turnover, stock exchange data indicated.

Slovenian blue-chip index falls

The SBITOP lost 0.38% to 597.82 points after rising 0.32% on Monday.

Four of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed lower on Tuesday, two rose and the shares of house appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] closed flat at 4.5 euro ($5.9).

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 3.64% to 1.349 euro ($102.3).

Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] paced the SBITOP gainers, rising 0.32% to 15.8 euro.

Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded blue chip with 37,348 shares changing hands. The stock added 0.15% to a close of 48.5 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 2.2 million euro from 571,460 euro on Monday.
