October 5 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana bourse fell on Friday, stock exchange data indicated.

Slovenian blue-chip index falls

The SBITOP lost 0.97% to 611.7 points after rising 0.26% on Thursday.

Three of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed higher, as many closed lower and house appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] closed flat at 4.75 euro ($6.2).

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] led the SBITOP gainers and was the most traded blue chip with 92,743 shares changing hands. The stock closed 4.63% higher at 1.56 euro.

Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 3.01% to 80.5 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 1.6 million euro from 2.6 million euro on Thursday.
