September 18 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana fell in lower turnover on Tuesday, stock exchange data indicated.

Slovenian blue chip index falls

The SBITOP lost 1.49% to 537.79 points after rising 1.64% on Monday.

Six of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed lower on Tuesday with energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] closing flat at 190 euro ($248).

Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 2.68% to 65.3.

Lender Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] was the most traded blue chip with 26,096 shares changing hands. The stock closed 2.54% lower at 1.15 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 2.6 million euro from 3.0 million euro on Monday.
