November 14 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana bourse dropped further on Wednesday in increased turnover, stock exchange data indicated.

Slovenian blue-chip index extends losses

The SBITOP lost 0.48% to 582.93 points after falling 0.71% on Tuesday.

Four of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Wednesday and three rose.

Apparel retailer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] led the blue-chip gainers, rising 1.65% to 4.2 ($5.3).

Energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] led the SBITOP decliners, falling 1.48% to 210 euro.

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] was the most traded blue chip with 57,170 shares changing hands. The stock added 0.08% to 1.256 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 1.3 million euro from 1.1 million euro on Tuesday.
