Slovenian blue-chip index extends gains

December 30 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose further as daily turnover halved on Monday, the bourse data indicated.

Slovenian blue-chip index extends gains

The SBITOP rose 2.29% to 655.66 points after adding 0.45% on Friday.

Six of the seven blue chips of the LJSE closed higher while energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] fell, closing 0.62% down at 218 euro ($301) on Monday.

Drug company Krka [LJE:KRKG] led the blue chip gainers, ending 5.26% up at 60 euro. It was also the most traded blue chip with 43,017 shares changing hands. .

Total daily turnover on the LJSE halved to 3.1 million euro from 6.2 million euro on Friday.
