November 21 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana bourse rose further on Wednesday in decreased turnover, stock exchange data indicated.

Slovenian blue-chip index extends gains

The SBITOP added 1.06% to 590.51 points after rising 0.28% on Tuesday.

Six of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose and one fell on Wednesday.

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] was the only blue-chip decliner and the most traded blue chip with 12,889 shares changing hands. The stock fell 1.72% to 1.199 euro ($1.5).

House appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] paced the SBITOP gainers, rising 2.44% to 4.2 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 866,430 euro from 1.2 million euro on Tuesday.
