November 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's consumer prices grew by 10.0% year-on-year in November, after rising by 9.9% in October, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices went up by 0.9% in November, after growing 0.8% in October, the statistical office said in a statement posted on its website.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 19% and pushed annual inflation up by 3.1 percentage points (pps). Fuel and energy prices grew by 19.1% and contributed 2.3 pps.
The greatest impact on monthly inflation, of 0.4 pp, came from higher prices of petroleum products, with prices of liquid fuels growing by 7.6% and of fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment increasing by 5.7%.
Measured with the harmonised index of consumer prices, the annual growth of consumer prices was 10.8% in November.
