November 18 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at North Macedonia’s international airports in Skopje and Ohrid reached 2,031,562 in the ten months through October, up 78% compared with the same period of last year, Aeroports de Paris (ADP) said.
In October alone, passenger numbers increased to 220,394, up 70,455 from October 2021, ADP said in a statement on Thursday.
In the twelve months through October, passenger traffic rose 84% to 2.3 million
ADP owns 46% of Turkey’s TAV Airports, the company operating the airports in Skopje and Ohrid.
Aircraft movements at the two airports reached a total of 16,585 in the January-October period, up 32% compared with the like period of 2021.
In October alone, aircraft operations at the two airports numbered 1,762, or 392 more than in the same month a year earlier. In the twelve months through October, aircraft movements rose 36.5% to 19,000.
