Skopje bourse's benchmark index rises in Nov amid higher turnover

December 5 (SeeNews) - The main index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), the MBI10, gained 2.37% month-on-month in November, reaching 6,046.34 points, as total trading turnover decreased, the bourse said on Tuesday.

Turnover totalled 347.2 million denars ($6.1 million/5.6 million euro) in November, up 8.16% month-on-month, while turnover on the bourse's electronic system of trading (BEST) went up 50.34% to 311.6 million denars, the MSE said in a statement.

The number of transactions rose 42.24% month-on-month to 1,411 in November.

The MSE's market capitalisation totalled 229.5 billion denars at the end of November, up 0.78% month-on-month and 9.9% higher on an annual comparison basis.

Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] was the most liquid share on the bourse in November, accounting for 120.5 million denars of the total turnover. The lender's shares traded at an average price of 13,005 denars on November's last trading day, up 9% compared with the last average price in the previous month.

The MBI10 stood at 5,557.94 points at the end of November 2022. In November 2022, trading turnover on the MSE totalled 304.4 million denars, earlier bourse data showed.
