Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) increased to 98.4 million denars ($1.7 million/1.6 million euro) in five trading sessions this week from 55.6 million denars in three trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on May 6 for Easter and on May 8 due to elections.
Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] contributed the most to the trading turnover on the MSE this week, as 1,449 of the company's shares changed hands in 66 transactions worth a total of 30.3 million denars.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 124.88 points on May 17, unchanged compared to the closing value on May 10.
