SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 13 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,478.89 points on Friday, down by 0.3% compared to the closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) fell to 52 million denars ($933,041/837,866 euro) in four sessions this week from 117.6 million denars in five sessions last week last week.
On Monday, December 9, the bourse was closed for Saint Clement of Ohrid Day.
Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week. Deals in its shares generated a total turnover of 13.6 million denars, as 1,205 of its shares changed hands in 48 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.84 points on Friday, slightly down from 132.88 at the end of last week.
