SKOPJE (North Macedonia), September 20 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,168.90 points on Friday, up 2.1% compared to the closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 77.0 million denars ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro) in five sessions this week from 63.6 million denars in four sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on Monday, September 9, for Independence Day.
Komercijalna banka [MSE:KMB] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week. It generated a total turnover of 14.5 million denars, as 2,600 of its shares changed hands in 67 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.86 points on Friday, up from 132.53 the last week.
