The investments created 3,500 jobs.
A considerable part of the amount, 66 million euro, came from 20 companies already operating in the province. They added 1,585 jobs.
The countries that contributed most were Israel with 70 million euro, followed by Croatia and Belgium with 23.02 million euro and 21 million euro, respectively.
The industries attracting most of the investments in the period were real estate – 71.3 million euro, agribusiness – 33.9 million euro, recycling industry – 24 million euro and the automotive industry – 22.2 million euro.
Looking forward, 49 companies revealed plans for investments and reinvestments of a total 1.1 billion euro, which are seen to ensure employment for 8,360, the VIP fund added.
