April 1 (SeeNews) - Serbian retail chain Univerexport will invest 6 million euro ($6.5 million) over the next five years in the construction of solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants with a combined capacity of 10 MW at its locations, it said on Monday.
The deal for the construction and maintenance of power plants was signed with partners Neopower and MT-Komex, Univerexport said in a LinkedIn post.

The power plants will be built at Univerexport's retail facilities in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Sombor, Jagodina, Ćuprija, Ada, Vrbas, Kula, Apatin, Kikinda, Temerin, Kać, Rumi.
Univerexport has 190 stores in Serbia and employs 5,000.
