March 12 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Solar Power Plant Theta plans to build a solar plant in the northern municipality of Zrenjanin, local authorities said.
The plant will be located in the village of Melenci and span a total of 282 hectares, the local municipality said in project documents on Monday.

According to the Serbian business registry, Solar Power Plant Theta is wholly owned by Luxembourg-based Trina Solar Overseas Systems. It was founded in June 2022.
