Serbia's Sept FX Reserves Rise 1.0% M/M to 10.683 Bln Euro - Table

BELGRADE (Serbia), October 15 (SeeNews) – Serbia’s foreign exchange reserves rose by 1.0% month-on-month to 10.683 billion euro ($15.624 billion) in September, the central bank, NBS, said on Thursday.

The foreign exchange reserves held by NBS fell 0.4% month-on-month to 9.523 billion euro in September over debt payments to foreign creditors, NBS said in a statement. Foreign exchange reserves held by Serbia’s 34 banks rose 12% to 1.160 billion euro, the statement added.

Serbia’s foreign exchange reserves totalled 10.581 billion euro at the end of August and 10.336 billion euro at the end of September 2008.
