April 10 (SeeNews) - Prices at Serbia's restaurants and hotels rose by an annual 9.7% in March and were 1.1% higher month-on-month, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
In annual terms, the cost of overnight accommodation marked the highest rate of increase, of 13.1%, in March, followed by the cost of non-alcoholic beverages with a 10.4% rise, the statistical office said in a statement.
In monthly terms, prices of overnight accommodation rose by 2.6% in March.
In February, Serbia's restaurant and hotel prices increased 10.2% on the year and were 1.4% higher than in January. Prices in the hospitality sector rose by an average 14.2% last year.
