In annual terms, the cost of overnight accommodation marked the highest rate of increase, of 17.6%, in May, followed by the cost of non-alcoholic beverages with an 11.4% rise, the statistical office said in a statement on Monday.
In monthly terms, prices of overnight accommodation rose by 3.0% in May.
In April, Serbia's restaurant and hotel prices increased 10% on the year and were 1.0% higher than in March. Prices in the hospitality sector rose by an average 14.2% last year.
