Serbia's Q2 New Car Registrations Up 18% Y/Y - Table

October 8 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new passenger cars in Serbia rose by an annual 18% to 24,381 in the second quarter of 2008, the country’s statistics office said on Wednesday.

Serbia's Q2 New Car Registrations Up 18% Y/Y - Table

In the first quarter, new car registrations increased by 22% on the year to 20,364.

In the second quarter of the year 3,928 new trucks were registered, up 30% on the year, while bus registrations more than doubled to 225, the statistics office said in a statement.

Motorcycle registrations rose by an annual 17% to 3,891 in the country of some 7.4 million people.
