The solar plant will span 16 hectares, the Zajecar council said in project documents published last week.

According to the Serbian business registry, PI Eco-Solar Green Energy is owned by private individuals Branka Kovacevic and Dusica Dragicevic, who each own 50% of its capital. It was founded in May 2022.

Approached by SeeNews for information on the size of the planned investment, a Zajecar municipal government official declined to comment. PI Eco-Solar Green Energy has not responded to a SeeNews e-mail seeking comment by the time this article was published.
