Serbia's NIS signs farm-in deal with Ascent Resources

December 18 (SeeNews) - Serbian oil and gas company NIS has signed a farm-in deal with UK-based oil and gas exploration and production outfit Ascent Resources to acquire a 37.5% stake in a project in Slovenia, a NIS presentation indicated.

No further details were available in the presentation issued on Monday.

In October, Ascent Resources said it was in negotiations with a number of parties regarding the farm-out of its Slovenian asset.

Ascent Resources plc has a diversified portfolio of hydrocarbon exploration and development projects across five countries in Europe: Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, and the Netherlands.
