Serbia's NIS plans to keep investments flat at 500 mln euro in 2014 - media

December 31 (SeeNews) - Serbian oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] plans to invest over 500 million euro ($688.8 million) in 2014, on par with investment spending this year, local media reported on Tuesday, quoting the company's CEO.

The company's strategic goal for next year will be regional expansion in the field of exploration and production as well as the development of its retail network, news agency Tanjug reported, quoting Kiril Kravchenko.

NIS (www.nis.rs) is one of the largest vertically integrated oil and gas companies in Southeast Europe. Its main activities include the exploration, production and processing of oil and gas, as well as the production and retail trade with a wide range of petroleum products.
