March 29 (SeeNews) - Serbian logistics company Nelt Group said it will appoint Darko Lukic as its chief executive officer as of July 1, succeeding to the post Milos Jelic.
Jelic, who served as CEO for 24 years, will become a member of the company's supervisory board, Nelt Group said in a press release on Thursday.
"In order to provide the best service and products to our principals, customers and consumers, we will be agile, motivated and open to communication with all stakeholders," Lukic said. "I am confident that we have the human and financial resources to take advantage of the many opportunities for further growth of the business."
Nelt was founded in Serbia in 1992 with trade as its core business. Today, the group employs some 5,500 people in eighteen companies in twelve markets across Europe and Africa.
