Kopernikus has selected CryptoGuard’s Conditional Access System (CAS) and is working on the digitalisation of its entire network and the introduction of new pay-TV services by the end of the year, the Swedish company said in a statement earlier this week.

No financial details of the contract were disclosed.

Kopernikus owns all licenses needed for planning and delivering projects in the telecommunications sector and is building its new network to offer high-quality services to low connection fees, CryptoGuard said.

In 2016, Polish private equity fund manager Abris Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in the capital of Kopernikus.
