Serbia's Jedinstvo buys back 10,000 own shares

BELGRADE (Serbia), October 13 (SeeNews) – Serbian industrial holding group Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] said on Friday it has acquired 10,000 of its own shares, representing a stake of 3.2817%.

After the transaction, Jedinstvo owns a total of 15,668 own shares, equal to 5.1418% of the total number of shares with voting rights, the company said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

The shares were repurchased in 27 deals on Thursday, at an average price of 5,487 dinars ($54.30/45.98 euro) apiece, according to bourse data.

Jedinstvo won 4.14% and led the Belgrade Stock Exchange blue-chip gainers' list on Thursday. The company generated the highest turnover of 54.9 million dinars on the bourse.

Jedinstvo plans to repurchase 10% of its own shares under the buyback programme approved in June 2016.

The holding group includes six companies, active in the construction of metal structures, gas pipeline construction, gas distribution and motor vehicle sales.
