BELGRADE (Serbia), October 30 (SeeNews) – Serbia’s trade deficit shrank by 44.8% year-on-year to $5.13 billion (3.46 billion euro) in the first nine months of 2009, the country’s statistics office said on Friday.
January-September exports fell by 31% on the year to $5.97 billion, while imports dropped by an annual 38% to $11.1 billion, the statistics office said in a statement on its website.
Serbia's trade gap widened by 46% to $7.41 billion last year.
