November 24 (SeeNews) - Serbia's current account deficit widened to $7.024 billion (5.577 billion euro) in the first nine months of 2008 from $4.320 billion a year earlier, preliminary central bank data showed on Monday.

The country’s current account gap widened by 77% to $5.286 billion in 2007, according to central bank data.
