Serbia’s Jan-Nov Trade Gap Narrows 40.8% to $6.52 Bln

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 30 (SeeNews) – Serbia’s trade deficit fell by 40.8% year-on-year to $6.52 billion (4.71 billion euro) in the first 11 months of 2009, the country’s statistics office said on Wednesday.

The January-November exports fell by 25.9% on the year to $7.59 billion, while imports dropped by an annual 33.7% to $14.11 billion, the statistics office said in a statement on its website.

Serbia's trade gap widened by 46% to $7.41 billion last year.
