Serbia's Jan-Mar trade gap narrows 8%

April 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's trade deficit shrank 8% on the year to $2.11 billion (1.97 billion euro) in the first three months of 2024, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.

Serbia's Jan-Mar trade gap narrows 8%

The country's exports fell by 0.2% to $7.801 billion in the January-March period, while imports decreased by 2% to $9.914 billion, the statistical office said in a statement.

The export-import ratio rose to 78.7% in the first three months of 2024 from 77.3% in the first three months of 2023.

In 2023, Serbia's trade gap narrowed by 26% to $8.903 billion.
