September 12 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Halkbank Beograd [BEL:CCNB] has reported a net profit of 162.6 million dinars ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro) in the first half of 2019, down from 202.7 million dinars in the previous year.
Halkbank's net interest income went up to 804.5 million dinars from 715.8 million dinars, while net fee and commission income grew to 332.1 million dinars from 279.9 million dinars, according to the interim unaudited financial statement of the lender, posted on its website.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 44.8 billion dinars, while deposits totalled 51.5 billion dinars at the end of June.
