Serbia's Globos Osiguranje raises stocks nominal value

March 21 (SeeNews) - Serbian insurer Globos Osiguranje has raised the nominal value of its shares to 502.20 dinars ($4.7/4.3 euro) apiece from 486 dinars, the country's central securities register and clearing house said on Thursday.

The change is applicable to the company's 1,979,743 regular shares, as well as its 6,522 preferred shares with ISIN RSGLOSE48676 and 52,073 preferred shares with ISIN RSGLOSE12037, the clearing house said in a brief statement.

It provided no further details.

Globos Osiguranje shares were delisted from the Belgrade bourse in July 2021 upon a request of the company's shareholders and following their decision that the insurer would cease operating as a public company.

Serbian car dealer British Motors owns 70% of Globos Osiguranje, while Zurich-based SIG Alpe Finance AG holds the remaining 30%, according to data from the clearing house.
