August 14 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] has said its net profit rose 4.2% on the year to 1.254 billion dinars ($12.4 million/10.5 million euro) in the first half of 2017.
The company's operating income grew by an annual 9.3% to 3.407 billion dinars while operating costs rose 10.4% to 2.228 billion dinars, the data, published on the corporate website on Friday, showed.

The pre-tax profit grew by 5.8% to 1.325 billion dinars and operating profit went up 7.2% to 1.179 billion dinars.
