The factory, launched on Tuesday, spans 5,000 square metres. The government supported the project through the construction of necessary road and utility infrastructure, the government said on Wednesday after regional development minister Verica Kalanovic attended the factory opening.

The investment will enable Foodland to complete the production cycle, starting from the delivery of raw materials to the final production output.

Belgrade-headquartered Foodland (www.foodland.rs) sells its products on more than 25 markets worldwide.
