Serbia's first-time car registrations up 2.8% y/y in Q1

The number of first-time truck registrations increased by an annual 14% to 5,991 in January-March, while the number of first-time registrations of trailers and semi-trailers rose 13% on the year to 2,277, the statistical office said in a statement earlier this month.

The number of first-time registered motorcycles jumped 33% on on annual basis to 1,822 in the first quarter of 2024, while the number of first-time registered agriculture tractors fell 28% to 1,859 in the reviewed period.

In 2023, first-time passenger car registrations in Serbia edged lower by 0.6% to 158,619.
