Serbia's Fintel Energija 9-mo net profit almost doubles

November 14 (SeeNews) - Fintel Energija [BEL:FINT], the Serbian subsidiary of Italy's Fintel Energia Group, said it recorded a net profit of 22.4 million dinars ($196,450/191,030 euro) in the first nine months of 2022, up from 12 million dinars in the like period of last year.

Fintel Energija's financial income rose 2.6% on the year to 88 million dinars in the January-September period, while financial expenses went down to 37.5 million dinars from 46.9 million dinars, the company said in an interim consolidated financial statement.

Fintel Energija's shares last traded on the Belgrade bourse on November 10, closing at 630 dinars.

Fintel operates thirteen wind parks in northern and north-east Serbia, according to their website. The company is also building an agrivoltaic plant in Kula, northern Serbia, with a capacity of 832 GWh annually.

In November 2018, Fintel Energija successfully completed the first initial public offering (IPO) on the Belgrade Stock Exchange since 1940.
