Serbia's Ekstra-Pet raises stake in trading firm Hempro to 90.3%

October 29 (SeeNews) - Serbian PET packaging producer Ekstra-Pet has increased its stake in the capital of Belgrade-based trading firm Hempro [BEL:HMBG] to 90.28% from 89.7% as part of a buyout bid, it said.

Ekstra-Pet, acting in the bid together with local individual Zvonko Gobeljic, acquired 1,685 ordinary Hempro shares, or 0.58% stake in the company's capital, it said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday.

Ekstra-Pet launched the bid on October 4, aiming to acquire 29,962 ordinary Hempro shares at a price of 666 dinars ($14.4/13.1 euro) apiece until October 14.

Hempro's shares last traded on October 24 on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, when they closed at 690 dinars.
