Serbia's building permits rise 6.4% in 2023

February 14 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Serbia rose by 6.4% year-on-year in 2023, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.

The estimated value of the projects covered by the issued permits increased by 9.5% on an annual comparison basis last year, the statistical office said in a statement.

In December alone, the number of permits decreased by 2% year-on-year, to 2,510, while the estimated value of the works covered by them increased by 16.1%.

Details on the percentage changes in the value of construction projects and the number of issued permits follow:
