Serbia's BELEX15 up 0.04%, T-bonds boost turnover

March 14 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.04% higher at 957.81 points on Thursday, as oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.

NIS climbed up 0.24% to 821 dinars in a volume of 96 shares.

There were no losers among the blue-chip components on Thursday.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 1,003 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 1 million dinars. Dunav closed flat at 1,010 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed 0.04% higher at 2,083.49 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse soared to 121.2 million dinars ($1.13 million/1.03 million euro) on Thursday from 13.8 million dinars on Wednesday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 119.3 million dinars of Thursday's turnover.
