Serbia's annual consumer price inflation slows in October

BELGRADE (Serbia), November 12 (SeeNews) – Serbia's average consumer prices rose by 1.0% year-on-year in October, after growing by 1.1% in September, official statistics show.

On a monthly comparison basis, Serbia's consumer price index (CPI) grew by 0.1% in October, after falling by 0.5% in September, according to figures published on the website of the national statistical office.

Clothing and footwear prices grew by 1.5% month-on-month in October, while transport costs rose 0.4%.

Prices of education services fell by 0.1% last month.

Serbia's average annual consumer price inflation slowed to 2.0% last year from 3.0% in 2017.
