March 19 (SeeNews) - The number of first-time passenger car registrations in Serbia edged down by 0.6% year-on year in 2023, to 158,619, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of cars registered in Serbia in 2023 was 2,389,100, up 2.2% compared to 2022, the statistical office said in a statement on Monday.

The number of first-time truck registrations fell by an annual 2% to 22,026 in 2023, while the total number of registered trucks increased 3.4% to 294,160.
In 2023, the number of first-time registrations of trailers and semi-trailers rose 10% on the year to 8,567, while the total number of registered trailers and semi-trailers went up 4.5% to 99,372.
