November 29 (SeeNews) - Serbia's foreign trade deficit in the first ten months of 2019 increased 3.1% on the year to $5.479 billion (4.988 billion euro), data from the country's statistical office showed.
The country's exports went up 1.1% to $16.386 billion, while imports grew by 1.6% to $21.864 billion, the office said in a statement.
The export-import ratio fell to 74.9% from 75.3% in the first ten months of 2018.
In October alone, Serbia's exports went up 4.3% on the year to $1.779 billion and imports declined 3.7% to $2.367 billion.
