April 25 (SeeNews) - Serbian tobacco company Coka Duvanska Industrija [BEL:COKA] said its net profit rose to 62.5 million dinars ($577,000/538,000 euro) in 2023 from 56.5 million dinars in 2022.
Total revenue increased to 512 million dinars last year from 445 million dinars in 2022, while total costs rose to 437 million dinars from 381 million dinars in the period under review, the company said in its annual financial report filed with the Belgrade bourse on Wednesday.
Operating income rose to 499 million dinars in 2023 from 430 million dinars a year earlier, while operating expenditures increased to 435 million dinars from 376 million dinars.
Coka's shares did not trade on the Belgrade bourse in the past year.
Local businessman Predrag Stojanovic controls 94.5% of Coka Duvanska Industrija, while the remainder belongs to smaller shareholders, data from Serbia's central securities depository and clearing house showed on Thursday.
