Serbian Stocks Extend Losses, Turnover Falls

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 15 (SeeNews) – Serbian shares on Tuesday extended their slide and turnover decreased, Belgrade stock exchange data showed.

Serbian Stocks Extend Losses, Turnover Falls

The bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 edged down 0.81% to 659.21 points after backing off 1.11% on Monday.

The broader BELEXline retreated 0.80% to 1,279.01 points on Tuesday after ticking down 0.55% in the previous trading session.

The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna shed 0.82% 286.39.

Total turnover on the BELEX fell to 27.3 million dinars ($412,636/283,560 euro) from 32.2 million dinars on Monday.

Blue chip Komercijalna Banka lost 1.11%, closing at 27,577 dinars in the session’s highest turnover again of 4.9 million dinars. 

Drug maker Velefarm advanced 1.69% to 1,200 dinars in the day’s second highest turnover of 3.4 million dinars.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje paced the climbers. Its share closed 2.56% higher at 3,199 dinars.

Lender Cacanska Banka posted the biggest slide on Tuesday. Its shares tumbled 9.55% to 16,000 dinars.

Fallers outnumbered gainers 26 to 10, while the share prices of 21 companies remained unchanged on Tuesday.
