Serbian Shares Fall Further, Volumes Rise

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 25 (SeeNews) – Serbian shares extended their losses in rising volumes on Friday, Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) data showed. 

Serbian Shares Fall Further, Volumes Rise

The bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 ticked down 0.26% to 629.06 points on Friday after losing 0.89% in the previous trading session.

The broader BELEXline edged down 0.56% to 1,233.62 points after backing off 0.32% on Thursday.

A update of the joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna for Friday was not available on the BELEX website.

Twenty-five issues lost ground, 15 climbed, while the share prices of 23 companies remained unchanged on Friday.

Total turnover on the BELEX rose to 136.6 million dinars ($2.1 million/1.4 million euro) from 74.4 million dinars on Thursday.

Blue chip AIK Banka inched up 0.33%, closing at 2,467 dinars in the day's highest turnover of 84.4 million dinars.

Drug maker Velefarm rose 3.09% to 1,200 dinars in the second highest turnover of 16.5 million dinars.

In single-price trading, wheat processor Zitosrem surged 20% to 1,380 dinars in the third highest turnover of 8.3 million dinars.

Lender Jubmes Banka led the sliders, tumbling 7.39% to 16,500 dinars.

Blue chip lender Agrobanka, which led the advancers, added 3.55% ending at 8,015 dinars.
