Serbian Share Indices Slide Further, Volumes Fall Sharply

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 4 (SeeNews) – Serbian share indices slid further on Friday as turnover fell sharply, Belgrade stock exchange data showed.

Serbian Share Indices Slide Further, Volumes Fall Sharply

The Belgrade bourse's blue-chip BELEX15 index lost 1.41% to 699.73 points after backing off 0.93% on Thursday.

The broader BELEXline index shed 1.14% to 1,344.96 points on Friday after sliding 0.82% in the previous trading session.

The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna fell 2.22% to 306.75 on Friday.

Total turnover sank to 43.4 million dinars ($672,289/449,781 euro) from 149.8 million dinars on Thursday.

Insurer Globos led losers, dropping 8.91% to 797 dinars.

Lender Credy Banka led advancers, soaring 5.10% to 3,400 dinars.

Blue-chip Komercijalna Banka lost 4.03% to 30,076 dinars in the day’s highest turnover of 11.1 million dinars. 

Metals Banka climbed 2.89% to7,975 dinars in the session’s second highest turnover of 4.6 million dinars.

Decliners outnumbered gainers 24 to 17, while the shares of 22 companies ended flat on the last working day before the weekend.
