Serbian share indices end higher in last trading day of 2013

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 31 (SeeNews) – The share indices of the Belgrade bourse closed in the positive territory amid increased total daily turnover on Tuesday, the last trading day in 2013, bourse data indicated.

Serbian share indices end higher in last trading day of 2013

The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange added 0.93% to 557.97 points after rising 0.22% on Monday.

The broader BELEXline index rose 1.28% to 1,104.92 after adding 0.39% in the previous trading session.

The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna jumped 2.7% in euro terms to 174.36 after ending up 0.67% on Monday.

Total turnover rose to 23.8 million dinars ($340,000/247,000 euro) from 14.3 million dinars in the previous session.

Paint and varnish maker Zvezda-Helios Hemijska Industrija [BEL:ZVHE] generated Tuesday's largest turnover of 5.4 million dinars, closing 1.82% up at 8,711 dinars.

Confectionery maker Banini [BEL:BNNI] paced the session's gainers, adding 19.71% to 2,600 dinars as eight shares changed hands.

Reinsurer Dunav Re [BEL:DNREM] led the decliners, losing 20% to 8,800 dinars in a volume of just one share.
