Serbian Insurers Q3 Premiums Rise 16.6% Y/Y to 40.1 Bln Dinars (524 Mln Euro)

November 28 (SeeNews) - Serbian insurers' combined premium income rose by an annual 16.6% to 40.1 billion dinars (524 million euro/$753 million) in the third quarter of the year, data from Serbia’s central bank, NBS, showed.

Non-life insurance accounted for 89.1% of the total premiums and life insurance accounted for the rest, NBS said in a statement posted on the bank’s website late on Thursday. The insurers’ total assets rose by an annual 9.8% to 79.5 billion dinars in the third quarter of the year.
