August 18 (SeeNews) - Serbian insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] said its net profit in the first half of 2022 totalled 128.5 million dinars ($1.12 million/1.1 million euro), down 88% on the year.
The insurer's premium income rose 2.44% on the year to 13.455 billion dinars in the first half of 2022, Dunav Osiguranje said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The premium income from life insurance came in at 1.876 billion dinars, up 13.3% year-on-year, and non-life insurance premium income grew 10.8% to 15.9 billion dinars.
Operating costs grew by 12.9% to 9.7 billion dinars, Dunav Osiguranje's balance sheet for the first half of 2022 showed.
