Infostud said the auto sector is one of the branches of Internet advertising with the highest potential for development, state news agency Tanjug reported.
The www.polovniautomobili.com website publishes more than 6,000 sale offers for used cars per month and generates 450,000 unique visits, Infostud has said in a statement.
Earlier this year Northcliffe International, a unit of UK-based Daily Mail and General Trust, acquired a 25% stake in Infostud, which started as an education and employment agency and web portal.
Northcliffe also owns a Croatian employment web portal, www.moj-posao.hr, which established a partnership with Infostud. Northcliffe also owns employment websites in Slovakia and Hungary.
Infostud is the eighth most visited Serbian website, according to Internet statistics agency Aleksa. Its employment section, www.poslovi.infostud.com, is the most visited employment website in Serbia with more than 600,000 monthly visits and 2,500 clients.
The Serbian company is also in partnership with Bosnian employment website www.posao.ba.
